Hello. I am the Branson Blogger and I currently post my Branson blogs on my personal site: bransontalk.com. I'm sure some people would love the opportunity to dispute or agree with what I say so Spencer has given me my own forum to do so. All of my blogs can be found on bransontalk.com but on this forum you can tear me to pieces or agree with what I'm saying.

My views on Branson are simply that--MY views. That doesn't mean they're right, it doesn't mean they're wrong. I am simply pulling from my personal experience as a resident in Branson having lived here for the past 8 years. No matter what position a person takes in life, he or she will offend someone. I don't mean to intentionally offend anyone but I believe in stating what I think is right. Anyone who takes offense will simply have to deal with that personal issue themselves. That is my "official disclaimer."

I love Branson! The area is one of the most beautiful around and the people here are phenomenal! As I stated above, my family has lived here for about 8 years. My wife and I work in separate locations but we both deal with the same thing--entertainment. I have often said that those who live in Branson do one of three things: work in hotels, work in restaurants, or work in the entertainment industry . No, I am not an entertainer. I stay as far away from the stage as humanly possible. In fact, all my work is done behind the scenes; I do the business end of things. I deal with a lot of numbers and a lot of Branson businesses.

Again, my intent is not to ruffle feathers but rather to discuss the issues that Branson is facing (as I see it). If any criticism is given, I ask that it be taken in a constructive way. I'm not going to dance around sensitive issues, although I may try to gently sugar coat the bitter pills so they're easier to swallow. I hope that what I write will be beneficial to building a better and brighter future for Branson, Missouri.
