Does anyone else think that 55 mph is a ridiculous speed limit for a four ane divided highway? I take the road to work all the time and most people do not go 55, but I have seen people get a ticket- c'mon, Hwy 65 is in worse condition and has a 65 mph limit- anyone else agree?

Pinkdusty I agree with you 100 percent. I have no idea why they have it posted at 55. It's a nice road and they could easily boost it to 65 with no problem. I don't know why they don't do it--they need to.

are they through with the High Road? or Will it ever be completed as the original plans called for?

didn't know the speed limit was 55, only drove it a few times, about the only car on it. Why have a bypass/express route if you're not going to let people drive a bit faster?
