Getting to Branson was the worst trip of our lives. We drove for miles and miles on a curvy, hilly, two lane road with no signs indicating Branson was "ahead". We were all upset and in a very bad mood when we finally arrived. We used a Mapquest map which shows the shortest route, (distanceAcce wise), but we used a different route leaving (a four lane with a very slow speed limit), which was longer, but we made better time once we reached the interstate. There needs to be better access to Branson. I would like to come again (I'm not sure about my wife), but the trip getting there will definately be taken into consideration. We had a great time once we got there!

Sorry for your poor experience. Because of the nature of where it is, there will be hills and curves. Where were you comming from? Use interstates as much as possible, then come in on 65.

this is an old post I know, but Im confused on how people wouldn't know that Branson was ahead....there 45 miles of billboards before you even get here and its been like that for awhile. Obviously its curvy because we live in the "Ozark Mountains".
