I don't know if anyone else has already posted this, but Billy Bob's has moved. They're only a block west of their previous location. Still same great burgers just on the other side of the street and down a little towards the gas station.

Where are they located now? What are they close to?

They are next to the Rib Crib on the other side of the strip.

Just want to mention Landry's here because it's our favorite nice restaurant in Branson. The lunch is wonderful, the seafood tastes like you're on the coast, and the prices are very reasonable for what you receive. We have been there several times and are always surprised at how good the waitstaff is and the warm reception our young children receive, which is odd for a nice restaurant. We often dine at nice places in bigger cities, but nothing compares to the level of service we receive at the Branson location of Landry's. Believe them when they say the bananas foster serves two. We could not even finish one! Also, the soup at dinner is really a meal. I couldn't eat another bite when I was done with it! I highly recommend Landry's to anyone visiting Branson.

Funny, we seem to run into stars every time we dine at Landry's too. Fun!

Well I would like to put a word in for good old 'Montana Mikes'!! It was quite late in our vacation when we first went in and I am pleased to add that we had great service and the food was darn good as well! I have to take my hat off to our lady waitress who had her work cut out serving a guy sat on his own just across from us who had surely got out the wrong side of the bed that morning! She was very polite to him and he gave her more grief that she could handle!! I was in three minds to get up myself and tackle the guy, but he was younger and bigger than me!! In the end the poor girl just had enough and plainly told him that she would do him a favour and not charge him for what he had, as he had been the biggest grouch of the day!! Do hope she's still in work! She's a good un!!

It's realy not fair! You all have a much better chance than me to try out all these eating places! Still, the best by far for Lil and I was 'The Hard Luck Diner' !! We spent quite a lot of time in there! Besides I don't know of any other place where your waiter/ ess brings you your meal and sings to you at the same time! Ane it was our sort of music as well. For me they were all "Stars" Also it was right next to our hotel!!

I like Hard Luck Diner too! It's a fun place to eat and be entertained.

Yea!! What I lkied was the way they scrambled tables together for seventeen of us!!! Then kept us all entertained!! On our very last meal in Branson, before driving to the airport in Springfield, we stopped in 'Dennys' for a last breakfast! In all the shows we saw, I had never heared my favourite piece, "Dueling Banjo's". Two guys came in carrying guitar and banjo to advertise their show!! I made the point to them and the came to our table and did one of the best renditions I have heard! The name was Le Roy New !! Just wish we could have stayed around to see his full show! But what a nice guy, and great artists!! " But I did get his CD !!

Last night we went to Florentinas, its where the Pasta House used to be and its only been open for a month or so I believe. The decorations were kind of cheesy but the food was pretty good. I got the chicken pizza and it was phenomenal....our waitress wasn't that great but maybe we caught her on a bad day. All in all, tasty food but other than that it was so-so.

Great tips everyone. Unfortunately, when I was in Branson, we were on quit a strict budget and we ended up eating at the hotel and fast food a lot. I'm planning on going back and I'm looking for a good Italian place. I know a couple people mentioned Olive Garden, but I'm looking for a great local place. Anyone have a favorite place?
